Fourteen Questions You Should Ask Before Choosing Your Senior Photographer
1. May I come to the studio with my parents to see the studio and check everything out before I make my session appointment? YES, pre-session visits are strongly encouraged. Everything goes better when we have had a chance to meet and talk about your session.
2. Will you take the time to give me a relaxed photo session, let me check my hair frequently and not rush me through my appointment? At DeLorme Photography the experience of your portrait session will be as fantastic as your photographs. Being the STAR Of THE STUDIO for an entire evening will be an experience you will remember for the rest of your life. 3. Will my parents or a friend be able to be with me during my entire session? Of course! We want to be sure that you are comfortable and thoroughly enjoy your session. 4. On my day, will I be one of only two seniors that you will creatively photograph or will I be just another of five to ten seniors on one of your long tiring repetitive work days? When you see all that Rick does during your session, it will be obvious that no one can do this all day and all evening long. 5. After my session, will I feel like I have been to a caring, creative, professional photographer or will I feel like I have been run through an assembly line? When Rick says "good bye" as you leave following your session, you will feel like you have had "STAR" treatment. 6. Will my pictures look like those of all my friends who come to your studio? Your session will be what YOU want it to be. It will be YOUR time spent as YOU like. Every scene will be YOUR choice and YOU will see how YOUR photos look as YOU go through YOUR session. Most seniors who come to DeLorme Photography want their senior pictures to be totally unique. 7. Will I be able to choose all my scenes and backgrounds from many photographic examples or will I have to take the backgrounds already set up before I arrive? YOUR session, just the way YOU want it to be!
8. Do all of your sessions include indoor and outdoor settings? YES! (Unless YOU want only indoor settings)
9. Will I have an entire evening of your time (with only me) to create outdoor portraits in the best outdoor light of the day (including sunset)? If that is what YOU want, YES! 10. When I first see my pictures, will you sit down with me and my parents and show us each image and share with us your thoughts on how each could be produced for the best possible result? YES! And this kind of service is very rare in senior photography. 11. Will you show my pictures to me and my parents during a private showing on a huge video screen or will we be stuck with proofs to review on our own? See your senior pictures for the first time on a big screen TV. 12. Is it possible for my order to include a free folio or senior album of retouched, art worked, first quality photographs, a free really cool-looking CD case with a free music video slide show DVD? Most definitely YES! 13. Do you offer simple, straight forward pricing or do you have confusing package pricing that makes it difficult to figure out how to get a good value? Absolutely NO ONE has simpler pricing with the no-minimum-order policy of DeLorme Photography. 14. Will you make a truly professional-looking yearbook photo so that I will really like my yearbook photo? YES! Great Question! A number of the yearbook teachers have told Rick that they are very upset with the quality of yearbook photos they have been receiving from other photographers. With so many new photographers who have recently begun doing senior pictures YOU should be sure that YOUR photographer can produce a professional-looking yearbook photo made to the specifications of YOUR school AND delivered on time.
